Body Texts is a set of photographic self-portraits of the body covered with text describing critical corporeal states. In this series I attempt to translate my bodily experience into the language of words and verify a glossary of terms expressing the ill body.

On the other hand, the photographs present the violence of language towards corporeality, which, by simplifying its sensations, surrenders it to linguistic poverty in the difficult attempt to articulate the impacts experienced.

The series also looks at ways in which my body tries to fit into these linguistic boundaries, even though those boundaries are too restrictive for it.
